This W111 Coupé was first delivered in 1964 to a shoe factory owner in Pirmasens (original registration document is available). The two-tone paint in white with black hardtop and white bakelite steering wheel give the car the typical flair of the 60s. With its large sunroof, the lack of B-pillars and the completely retractable windows, it feels almost like a convertible.
The black leatherette interior has been completely refurbished, other components of the interior such as the wooden door panels present themselves largely in original condition with an appropriate degree of patina. The chrome is complete and, like the body, without major damage. The rear bumper displays small signs of impact, there is a scratch on the trunk lid and a tiny dent in the front fender and minor blemishes of this kind.
The 2.2 litre injection engine with 88 kW (120 hp) is fitted, coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission.
