This 1991 model Porsche 911 was originally delivered to Japan, where it remained, according to the previous owner, in one ownership until 2008, when it was re-imported into Germany. It has been registered in this country first by the importing dealership and then by the previous owner. The Porsche has been regularly serviced and maintained. The odometer displays an unwarranted mileage of 170,800 km.
This beautiful sports car runs on Porsche 993 rims that were not typical for this series, but have got the manufacturer’s approval. The windscreen has been replaced due to stone chip damage and is in a nearly new condition. The paintwork is largely original with expertly conducted re-painting of individual parts. On the passenger’s side, small parking dents can be seen. The interior has little traces of use, appropriate for a well-kept car which is already 25 years old.
The 3.6 litre engine produces 184 kW (250 hp) of power and is mated to the Tiptronic automatic gearbox – which had only been introduced in 1990. The Porsche also features dual airbags, trip computer, air conditioning, electric sunroof and 17″ alloy wheels.
As is typical for many 964 Porsches, engine and gearbox leak a bit of oil.
All in all, an interesting and competitively priced young classic!
